Me(r)maid

The mermaid fans my face with her tail, and goes ahead (to be followed), without noticing that I'm not one of them Mer-maids.
She never does, when I'm underwater.

Mer-maid: dames de la Mer.
Ain't that something? The sea is feminine in France. And in the sea, I'm almost a lady of those waters.
